Literature Text

It was a monumental incident, the fall of Atlantis.  The planetary grid of energy was shifted so dramatically that the position of the equator physically changed.  Atlantis was placed upon a polar region by this alteration, and froze over in weeks.  The Ley Nexus Generator -- the technological centerpiece of their civilization stopped moving, it having been disconnected from the rest of the grid.  Without power, they could not halt the freeze.  Atlantis now sleeps underneath a sheet of ice, until the day that someone wakes the Generator.

The damage had been done.  The Galactic Pulse left the world disoriented.  The Saharans became the prominent civilization after that.  Even so, that did not stop Chimera from approaching Earth.  That did not stop them from laying out their own demands.  The Saharans did not see any safety in acceding to the demands given.  They shut down and buried their own Generator underneath of a mountain in the center of the Edin, and ignored the fact that several pirated space ships fled Chimera's initial quarantine of the planet.
Chimera confronted the Saharans about the pirates that left without permission.  The Saharans took their stance on the side of the pirates, and began to assemble an evacuation fleet, refusing Chimera's offer completely.  They left Earth, and wandered the galaxy for a new place to keep themselves safe in.  The Pleiadians offered to them the star Atlas, where a similar race of beastmen exist.

Chimera, being the heartless force that it is, burned the Edin to salt, glass, and dust.  No trace of the Saharans were to remain on Earth.  No trace of civilization before the Experiment was to be left out in the open.  They did not want the humans they were going to make confronting them about what really happened here.

What really happened?  I failed.  I failed to vanquish Yaldabaoth.  Perhaps it is because I fear how much sacrifice of my own mind it would have taken to do so.  Yes.  I am keenly aware of what it is, and how it is connected to me.  I have committed a terrible disaster.  Once in its timeless and paradoxical creation, and again by allowing its mind to invade this Verse.  I failed to correct it.  I may continue to do so while unaware of any solution to remedy it.

It is born of my reflection in the dark side, this much I remember.  Love does not stop it.  Peace does not stop it.  Creation does not stop it.  I have only ever seen it balk in the presence of one who forgives its nature.  It is a destroyer.  That is all it was ever made to do.

I have lost sight of what it was meant to destroy, and I cannot release it from the service of its purpose as long as I retain a hatred of my own shortcomings...had I made it to destroy me?  If so...it is quite successful in that endeavor.  I have lost to it as frequently as any other force that has tried to repel it.  The Vaalfori; The Legemeton; The Elohim; even my former peers among the Mintakans cannot harm it.  All, have I asked.  Yet out of these, the Elohim turn their backs on me and call me a devil.

Indeed, if I made The Eternal to destroy me, it is quite successful so far...
